Second Bloom - True as the first

I believe I'm just about ready to officially announce the first chimera blossom ever to appear on a streptocarpus.  The blossom below is the 2nd blossom to appear and is also showing the distinct middle stripe.  Even more exciting is this bloom is on a completely different leaf on the plant.

  2. Hi. Mary here again. I also have been looking for Strep "Texas Hot Chili" and "Kim". The only two that every really grew well for me. I should tell you a little about myself. I live in the heart of the Midwest where it is very hot these days outside. I have grown African violets for over 50 years. I only started with named varieties about 12 years ago. You could say that I am a African violet addict and proud of it. lol So let me know if you sell any of your violets or those two streps I mentioned. Thanks Mary

  3. Hi Mary - Oh yes, I sell violets. LOTS of them. I do have Texas Hot Chili but don't currently grow Kim. I normally just sell on eBay (much easier for me).

On the violet front I grow mainly miniatures, semiminiatures and trailers (about 350 different varieties). Yes, it's too many! Do you have any "must haves" that you can share with me and I'll tell you if I grow them.
